One of the most active groups in our church is our senior adults ages 50 and up, the Forerunners. We are not in retirement! We can out walk, out shop, out shout, the average middle-age group of our society.
We are blessed to have Mr. Nelson Gains as our Director. Nelson keeps our Seniors motivated and informed in areas of life that can alleviate undue pressure that sometimes attaches itself to Senior Adults.
The Edgemere Church of God Forerunners faithfully serve as greeters, Bible teachers, musicians, singers, ushers, and preachers. We are an organization which meets monthly for luncheons and fellowship. We participate in both the Church of God State Senior Adult and National Senior Adult programs. For the past several years, members of our Forerunners have won National awards at the National Senior Adult talent and craft competition in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
